With Christ, our Creator as a central focus to our artistic works, this ministry is an opportunity for those in our Reveal Church community to be Kingdom builders by creatively thinking and producing. Ministries from music, performance, writing, film, production, or anything behind the scenes are intrinsic to the Creative Arts Ministry at Reveal. It is our wish that the Creative Arts Ministry would not stagnate or dull, but that it would enhance and enrich all aspects of worship expression in our local church body. Your ideas are welcome! Music Teams Musicians, vocalists, lyricists, sound engineers, ambience-creators: At Reveal, we encourage ongoing auditions and pursuit of fresh, relevant musical expression and sound. As a team we actively pursue new ideas. Worship through music is not limited to Sunday morning services. We function as a collective as well as celebrating individual pursuits and endeavors as opportunities arise at Reveal Church. Staging Crew This is for folks who don't mind the sometimes rigorous stage support of set-up/tear-down, stage and set building, fabrications, stage light management. We take this all the way to the lobby and children’s ministry set up. No task is too small or minuscule. This is an exciting ministry and one that is so critical to all things Reveal. For those that love to stay behind the scenes and exude strong work ethic, you’ll find likeminded community in this crew. Acting, Dance, Extras Actors in both comedic and dramatic camps will find opportunity to serve and write scripts at Reveal, both for stage and video/screen. Our diverse background of our congregations allows for a multitude of appropriate expressions. Main actor/principal dancer/ or bit part/background twirler... doesn't matter. If you have a gift, large or small, we welcome it! Once in the mix and availability, you will be in a database for consideration for stage and video productions. Maybe we missed something that is your worship expression like fire breathing, we’d love to hear about it. Video Production and Volunteers Video production as art expression and worship is a fulfilling way to serve this Creative Arts Ministry. Contact Daniel, pitch your idea or send in your completed project. This ministry if for the vision-caster, director, videographer, screen writer, and all involved in the technical side of film: shooting, editing, lighting, costume/stylist, make-up, special effects, and all further technical support. Graphic Design Trained, professional, graphic designers are continually used at Reveal. The artistic expression of graphic design is used every Sunday with every theme and graphic art as part of our worship. We also utilize our designers for projects such as t-shirts, special fliers, themes and much more as opportunities arise. Sound, Audio-Visual, and Lighting Technical Teams Your opportunities as engineers and novices in these positions are interwoven into every ministry listed above. You are the exciting "magic" that makes the project look, sound, and run perfectly. Your gifts and service, while behind the scenes, are an essential part of the worship experience at Reveal. Painters, Poets, Sculptors, and all Applied Arts Artisans Your projects may serve purpose as well! If your work is outside of the box and not your typical heart and cross piece, we’re even more interested. We want to see all artistic expressions, even those that don’t fit into a certain mold or category. If any of the above areas are intriguing to you, but you don't have experience, no worries. It's ok to show up and give an attempt to learn if you feel God calling you to be more deeply involved in these artistic ministries of worship expression.
