Marty's early pursuit of Jesus started at the age of 14 when his heart was gripped by the mercy and faithfulness of God and the gift of His Son. Since that time, he has been dedicated to living a life that is pleasing to his great God and Savior Jesus. Marty has served in ministry since 1994 where he has pastored youth, community outreach, worship and arts as well as the young adult ministry. In June of 2008, Marty and his wife Shelia moved to Surprise, AZ to start Reveal…A Vineyard Community Church. It has been a crazy and wild ride ever since.
Marty has been married to his Texas bride for 22….wait….23 fabulous years (crisis averted). They have three incredible children; Tatum, Josiah and Justis. Family time is loud and obnoxious and always filled with laughter - they wouldn’t have it any other way! In his spare time Marty can be found on the soccer pitch coaching at the local high school, playing softball, banging on the guitar or just sitting in front of the TV (no judgements please…).

Shelia knew at a young age (11) she would be working with children when she got suckered into childcare for church prayer meetings. It was destiny from that moment. With over 13 years experience as a public school teacher and 35 years working in various forms of children’s ministry, she has found her sweet spot. There is nothing more world changing that caring for children. She believes that children are the hope for the future and the present.

Daniel Arellanes felt a calling on his life since the age of 9 when he originally gave his life to Christ during an alter call at his grandmothers church. Over the years, through the ups and downs, Daniels life experiences have strengthened his faith and allowed for him to learn how to accept God’s wonderful grace and mercy. Daniel has a passion for allowing the hope of his life experiences to be “good news” to others and inspiring the to never give up. Over the years Daniel has had the opportunity to lead in various roles such as youth pastor, associate pastor, counselor, mentor and various other group leading opportunities. Daniel and his wife Kiona have been married for 21 years and have four beautiful children, Israel, Isaiah, Isaac and Keilani.

Associate Pastor Worship
Daniel has always been surrounded by music and musicians. His father was a worship leader and drummer at a church in small town Douglas, AZ. His mother was involved with women’s ministry and preaching. He recalls late night rehearsals, falling asleep on the church stage and going with his mother into homes to pray for those in need (sometimes forcefully).
At the age of 7, he began playing drums and was a fill-in drummer (yes he admits to praying the drummers would get sick so he could play!) He jumped to guitar around the age of 8, then to bass and started to fall in love with piano around age 10. At that young age, he made the decision to make God his personal savior and serve through music. Daniel got the opportunity to lead worship, and from there knew music and leading was going to be his life.
Years passed, and he was lucky to meet and marry a beautiful and talented woman who played guitar, sang, and led worship with passion and love. Jeanette grew up with the heart to lead and serve as well. She was surrounded by a family of pastors and musicians. She also loves working with kids as her parents were very involved with children’s ministry. A part from working with children in church the family helped kids in need especially the orphaned, through a local kitchen. Jeanette began writing songs of her own and playing guitar at a young age, and even writing her own sermons to share with her church.
Daniel and Jeanette are blessed with 3 Children, Zoe, Danelly and Nathan and are excited to see what God has in store for their lives.

Amy Biere was born in Michigan but grew up in Mexico as a missionary kid. She made a decision to follow Jesus at a young age and later attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Bible. Shortly after she graduated, she met her husband Jordan at a Christian camp in Ohio where she was the director of the day camp program. While Jordan finished at Moody Bible Institute, Amy took a 4th grade teaching job on the west side of Chicago. Shortly after Jordan graduated, they moved to the suburbs of Chicago to begin working in youth ministry. Amy taught Spanish, drama, and music during that season until their twin girls were born. They both served at Community Christian Church for 8 years. Amy also launched and grew her own photography business for four years as an outlet for her creativity.
Last year, after 10 years of youth ministry, Jordan and Amy decided to follow God’s calling, and transitioned to working at Alpha USA. Last Spring, Jordan and Amy felt God prompting them to pack up and move, and to their surprise, God led them to EL Mirage, Arizona.
Amy is so excited to be a children’s ministry coordinator for Reveal and has a very creative side and lots of experience creating and developing spaces where kids can have fun and learn about Jesus.
Jordan and Amy are blessed with 4 children, Emma, Olivia, Caden, and Ethan, and are excited about serving at Reveal and seeing what God has for them here in Arizona!
