The History Of Revealat Reveal Vineyard Church was started in June of 2008 by Marty and Shelia Kaiser. Prior to starting Reveal, Marty served as an associate pastor at Vineyard North Phoenix for 14 years. Shelia also served at Vineyard North Phoenix in the children’s ministry for 10 years.
The idea of starting a new church came as a surprise to both Marty and Shelia. Both were very happy serving at Vineyard North Phoenix and planned to spend their lives there. However, in October of 2007, God began to stir something in their hearts. Neither Marty nor Shelia had ever aspired to starting a church plant, but it seemed God was leading their lives in that direction. After much prayer, thought, and counsel from others, both agreed that God was directing their lives on a new path. The next question was “Where?” Both spent several months driving through the various neighborhoods in the Phoenix area. Soon, it seemed that Surprise was the obvious choice. Several months later, Marty and Shelia began meeting with a group of key leaders that had committed to take on the challenge of starting a church in the Surprise area. This group of leaders came from various backgrounds and had various leadership experiences. However, all were committed to the call to bring a simple, vibrant church to the Surprise area. Most of the details were ironed out during these first meetings. While looking for a place to meet, the leadership team decided that UltraStar Cinemas would be a great start for our new church. After 15 months in the theater, Reveal moved to the Performing Arts Center at Valley Vista High School then it's current location at Dysart and Greenway in July of 2017. And so we come to the present. We are excited about what God has done at Reveal. Reveal is an amazing testament to God’s faithfulness. However, this is only the beginning. We invite you to join us on this journey as together we seek to Find God, Find Others and Find Yourself. |
